Easiest Salsa Ever

Lucky for me, I grew up on my dad's homemade salsa. Because of this, and my distaste for too much vinegar, I've never liked store-bought, jarred salsa and refuse to buy it. Thankfully, it's very easy to make as long as you go with the raw kind. It's delicious if you roast everything too, but is an extra step I never make time for.

Salsa

Ingredients:
  • 1 can diced tomatoes or 2 cups worth of fresh tomatoes
  • 1 small bunch or ½ large bunch of cilantro
  • ¼ of a medium onion (any color works)
  • 1 medium clove of garlic
  • 1-2 hot peppers (we usually use jalapeƱos or serranos)

Instructions:
  1. Throw everything into a blender and blend on lowest setting. Store in a jar in the fridge. Best if used in about 5 days, lasts a little longer with cooked tomatoes but is oh so delicious with fresh tomatoes from the garden.
